Which quest for Spider in UW? - Guild Wars Forums

Wrathful Spirits, I think is one of them. It's in the Forgotten Vale, where you need to protect the village from IW-using ghosts.

Might not have been fast enough

First, you have to have the quest "Restore the monuments of Grenth". Then restore any monument, Reaper of the Forgotten Vale being one of the easier ones. Then just do the quest the Reaper gives you, and when you finish the quest a Spider appears.
